New in the 2021 edition, the 10 km Walking & Nordic Walking event will take place across a breath-taking course that will take the participants through the enchanting landscapes of Locarno and along the shores of Ascona’s picturesque lake.

Those who register to take part in this competition will have the opportunity to fully enjoy the region’s beauty while practising a healthy sports activity in the great outdoors.

The 10 km Walking&Nordic Walking is also open to families!

10 km can be a lot for little ones, so you can enjoy this beautiful walk with your children using your pushchair or kids scooter!

For children born in 2020 and younger there is no race package or t-shirt; for those born in 2013-2019 there is a race package but no t-shirt.
Material (race starter pack, t-shirt, etc.) not collected during the days of the event will not be sent to your home address.

The “Ascona-Locarno Run” event is organised under the patronage and directives of the Swiss Athletics Federation (Swiss Athletics).

Medical certificates or Federation memberships are not required to take part in the “Ascona-Locarno Run” races; however, by registering to take part, each participant declares to be in “good physical health, to be eligible to take part in a running race, and to have medical confirmation of this”. In any case, the organisers of the “Ascona-Locarno Run” accept no liability.
