The 10 km Run will take place on Sunday October 11th across a breath-taking course that will take the participants through the enchanting landscapes of Locarno and along the shores of Ascona’s picturesque lake.

The course is approved by Swiss Athletics.

The 10 km Run is an event sponsored by FTAL and counts towards the title of Ticino Absolute Champion.

In order to participate in the Ticino championships, it is mandatory to register only with the name of your FTAL club and to run in the official shirt.

The prize-giving ceremony will take place from 13:30 in Piazza Grande.

The first three participants to cross the finish line in each category will receive a prize, as per the categories indicated below.

Moreover, the fastest three runners overall male and female will receive a prize.

Any unclaimed prizes will remain the property of the organiser.

The “Ascona-Locarno Run” event is organised under the patronage and directives of the Swiss Athletics Federation (Swiss Athletics).

The course has been approved by Swiss Athletics.

Medical certificates or Federation memberships are not required in order to take part in the “Ascona-Locarno Run” races; however, by registering to take part, each participant declares to be in “good physical health, to be eligible to take part in a running race, and to have medical confirmation of this”.

In any case, the organisers of the “Ascona-Locarno Run” accept no liability.
